An epic sunrise in the Yukons Kluane mountains. I will likely remember this morning for the rest of my life. It was one of the best sunrises I have seen in the mountains and I was completely prepared to capture it. It was a rare day where everything seemed to happen just right.

A brilliant sunrise over Mt. Cook in New Zealand’s Aoraki National Park. This photo was taken from the summit of a neighboring mountain. The trip consisted of an over night stay in an Alpine hut and a 5 am climb to catch this sunrise over the valley.
