New years eve sunset. It began with blazing oranges and reds reflecting off the granite faces, which then quickly cooled to this tranquil magenta-blue scene. I believe the full-moon and pines framing Half Dome bring a fresh perspective to this often photographed mountain. I feel both grateful and fortunate to have experienced such wonderful photography conditions during my short stay in this region.
